Funding rates on Binance, BingX, Bybit, OKX: 5 large caps for reference and the 70 coins with the widest rate spread between exchanges. Green means longs pay shorts, red means shorts pay longs, intensity shows the size. The toggle switches between the current rate (normalized to 8 hours) and total funding paid over the past 7 days, so you can tell a persistent imbalance from a one-off spike. How to read the map
- Mixed colors in one row - exchanges disagree: longs pay on one, shorts on another. That is what funding rate arbitrage is built on; the pairs table calculates fee payback.
- A whole row in deep red or green - the imbalance is market-wide for that coin, not on a single exchange. That is usually a time of sharp price moves, not quiet yield.
- Bright now, pale over 7 days - a spike of the last few hours. Bright in both modes - the imbalance has held for a week.

What does the funding rate heatmap show?
The funding rate of each coin on Binance, Bybit, OKX and BingX, normalized to 8 hours, or the total funding paid over the past 7 days. Green means longs pay shorts, red means shorts pay longs, and color intensity shows the size.
Why look at funding accumulated over 7 days?
The current rate may be a one-off spike. A week of payments shows whether the imbalance persists: if the week was quiet and the rate is high right now, it will most likely return to normal soon.
Where does the data come from?
Public exchange data: the current rate and funding payment history for every USDT-margined perpetual. Rates refresh every minute, history every hour. Perpetuals on stocks, ETFs, commodities and FX are excluded. JSON: /api/funding.
