FAQ

Is the Edge or Not API free?

Yes. No key, no sign-up. The data is under CC BY 4.0: use it, including commercially, and credit Edge or Not with a link to edgeornot.com.

Is there a rate limit?

There is no published quota. Responses are cached for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, so polling faster than that returns the same data. Excessive automated traffic may be limited without notice.

How complete is the liquidation data?

It covers Binance (all USDT perpetuals) and Bybit (20 major coins). Binance publishes at most one liquidation per symbol per second, so totals are a lower bound of what actually happened.

Is the API stable?

It is the same API our own pages use. We try not to break it, but the format and availability are not guaranteed. Changes are noted in the changelog above.
